M100 Young European Journalists Workshop

M100 Young European Journalist, the City of Potsdam and Potsdam Media International e.V., with the support of the Federal Press Office, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, and the National Endowment for Democracy, offer young journalists the opportunity to participate in workshops focusing on the theme “The local-global nexus: Exploring new strategies for local journalism in the post-covid era”.
 

Participants should be passionate about their role in the democratic process and take an active interest in the future of media, journalism and democracy.
Due to the covid-situation the workshop will be conducted as a decentral, online event over the course of six weeks.
The workshop will be held in English.

 

Who can apply
Young journalists between 21 and 30 years old from Europe, the countries of the Eastern Partnership (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) and Russia.
The application form includes a project proposal, a CV and a letter of motivation. Only applications in English are taken into consideration.
Selected participants will be invited to a Skype interview. Costs for accommodation, transportation and meals will be covered by the organisers.
